Joy Bonsu Schmutz is a certified executive coach, corporate trainer, and digital transformation consultant with a passion for equipping individuals and teams to thrive in an ever-evolving world of work. She supports leaders and organizations globally in navigating change, building high-performing teams, and leading with purpose and clarity.

As a corporate trainer with CTL Africa Leadership, Joy designs and delivers leadership and people development programs that inspire transformation across corporate and youth-focused ecosystems. She also serves as a knowledge management consultant with BCA Leadership, a pan-African leadership development organization, where she contributes to capacity-building and thought leadership efforts.

Joy is a mentor in several fellowship programs, including the Central Leadership Program and the Young Leaders Learning Lab (Y3L), where she nurtures the next generation of African changemakers through values-based coaching and support.

She is the co-founder of Abeyie Innovation Studios and Sherock Women, two platforms that integrate technology, leadership, and women’s economic empowerment. Her work bridges the intersection of digital innovation and human development, helping clients harness the power of technology for growth and inclusion.

A dedicated advocate for leadership learning, Joy co-hosts The Leadership Platform, a weekly live webinar that convenes thought leaders for transformative conversations every Saturday at 7 p.m. GMT on YouTube.

Joy is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is currently working toward her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential. She brings a rich blend of coaching, consulting, and cross-sector experience to her practice, drawing from her background in telecommunications engineering and further training in project management, human resources, and serious games from institutions in Ghana, the USA, and France.

An emerging voice in digital learning, Joy is the author of How to Learn Anything Digital, a practical guide for professionals seeking to stay relevant in the digital age.

She was recently named one of Ghana’s Female Tech Trailblazers 2025 by Soronko Academy, in recognition of her work at the intersection of technology, leadership, and women’s empowerment.
